Abstract
The main objective of this study is to synthesize 2-(substituted phenyl)-3-[{4-(1-naphthyl) - 1, 3 -thiazol-2-yl} amino] -4-oxo- 1, 3) -thiazolidin-5-yl] acetic acid (TA1-TA10) from 1-acetyl naphthalene. The synthesized compound, characterized on the basis of satisfactory analytical and spectral (IR, H1NMR) data, have shown moderate to good anticonvulsant activity.
